As product quality and customer satisfaction are at the heart of Lumeo Creative's priorities, the " Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee " allows you to benefit in certain cases from a repair or replacement of defective items according to the conditions defined below.
The Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee complements the legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects, the validity of which is not affected by this Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee.
Who can benefit from the Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee?
The Lumeo Creative Commercial Warranty benefits individuals who can demonstrate that they own a Lumeo Creative product covered under the Lumeo Creative Commercial Warranty:
Either for having been the first purchaser from Lumeo Creative, or for having been the first beneficiary in the case of a gift. Proof of these qualities can be provided by producing the defective product and its proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation).
What is the time period during which a person can invoke the Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee?
As soon as you notice a defect in a product marketed by Lumeo Creative, you should inform the latter in accordance with the procedures described below.
The Commercial Warranty is indicated on each product and can last up to 10 years.
What are the terms of implementation of the Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee?
For a product purchased on the website www.lumeo-creative.com :
To implement the Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee, you must first send your complaint via the contact page, indicating your order number and attaching photographs, explanations and any other element allowing you to demonstrate the alleged defect.
With these elements, Lumeo Creative services will be able to establish an initial diagnosis and tell you whether the damage observed falls within the scope of the Commercial Guarantee or not.
If, following this initial diagnosis, the conditions for implementing the Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee appear to be met, Lumeo Creative services will send you the product return form that you should complete. Upon receipt of the product, Lumeo Creative will carry out a thorough check to verify whether the conditions of the Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee are met. If the Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee is applicable, we will inform you whether the product is eligible for repair or replacement.
Products must be returned according to Lumeo Creative's instructions. Shipping costs for returns of products not authorized by Lumeo Creative will be at your expense, unless Lumeo Creative agrees to take charge of them.
How much does the Lumeo Creative Commercial Warranty cost?
The Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee is included in the purchase price of the product concerned: it does not give rise to the invoicing of a supplement!
Which products are covered by the Lumeo Creative Commercial Warranty?
The Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee concerns products identified as “10-year guarantee” on the product sheet of the product concerned.
What are the exclusion cases from the Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee?
The Lumeo Creative Commercial Warranty applies only to normal use of the product in accordance with its intended purpose. The following are not considered normal use of the product:
Exposure to abrasive products and surfaces as well as solvents, acids, water, etc.
The Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee will also not apply in any of the following cases:
Normal wear and tear of the product,
Of willful degradation,
Deterioration during transport under unsuitable conditions,
Breakage (during cleaning for example)
The Commercial Guarantee is limited to the price of the product concerned, and does not cover indirect damages. In the event of a replacement, an equivalent or similar product is offered with a value at least equal to that of the price paid for the item for which the Commercial Guarantee is implemented.
2/ Legal guarantee
The Lumeo Creative Commercial Guarantee, if applicable, granted applies without prejudice to your right to benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity, under the conditions provided for in Chapter VII, Title I, Book II of the Consumer Code, and that relating to hidden defects, under the conditions provided for in Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code.
Any request made under legal guarantees must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt (LRAR).
The consumer has a period of two years from the delivery of the goods to obtain the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity in the event of the appearance of a lack of conformity. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date on which it appeared.
Where the contract for the sale of the goods provides for the continuous supply of digital content or a digital service for a period exceeding two years, the legal guarantee is applicable to this digital content or this digital service throughout the period of supply provided for. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or the digital service and not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity entails an obligation for the professional, where applicable, to provide all updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the goods.
The legal guarantee of conformity gives the consumer the right to repair or replacement of the goods within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience for them.
If the good is repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.
If the consumer requests the repair of the goods, but the seller imposes replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for a period of two years from the date of replacement of the goods.
The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price by keeping the goods or terminate the contract by obtaining a full refund against return of the goods, if:
1° The professional refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2° The repair or replacement of the good occurs after a period of thirty days;
3° The repair or replacement of the good causes a major inconvenience for the consumer, in particular when the consumer definitively bears the costs of recovery or removal of the non-compliant good, or if he bears the costs of installation of the repaired or replacement good;
4° The non-conformity of the goods persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring them into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a reduction in the price of the goods or to the termination of the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies the reduction in the price or the termination of the contract being immediate. The consumer is then not required to request the repair or replacement of the goods beforehand.
The consumer is not entitled to rescission of the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period of immobilization of the property for the purpose of its repair or replacement suspends the guarantee which remained to run until delivery of the repaired property.
The rights mentioned above result from the application of articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the consumer code.

In the event of confirmation by Lumeo Creative that the goods have been taken into account under the legal guarantee giving rise to the repair or replacement of the non-compliant product, you must return the product to Lumeo Creative for its compliance by post - Colissimo, said return to be carried out and paid for by the parties in accordance with the provisions of Articles L.217-4 et seq., D.217-1, L.241-6 et seq. of the Consumer Code. In this regard, Lumeo Creative will be required to reimburse you for the costs of sending the goods in order to bring the goods into compliance within fourteen days at the latest from the day on which you are informed that the goods have been taken into account under the legal guarantee.
